Nov 1, 2021 · Windows has always had poor PDF support and that does not seem to have improved in Windows 11. I have tried both the built-in "Windows Fax and Scan" app and the "Windows Scan" app from the Windows Store. Neither of them will scan multiple pages to a PDF file which seriously is the most basic requirement for a scanner app in 2022.

If you want what you see in print view to be closer to what is achieved when a pdf is produced, change the default printer on your computer to pdf before you open Word. Aug 14, 2021 · 1. It happens on other Word documents. For example, a docx file I saved as an ADF/A pdf on June 29th now gives me the sorry message (see attached screen shot). I believe this is the last time I saved a doc as a pdf with the ADF/A checked. 2. My system setup is the same. The only changes in the last month are from Windows Updates (see attached).
