Sep 23, 2024 · I had the same last year - a message from the buyer asking if I could delay dispatch by 4 days, I agreed, bought an eBay label and then had a hell of a job getting my late delivery defect removed, took me about three eBay CS contacts before one of them agreed that the eBay message was sufficient proof that I was doing the buyer a favour and delayed dispatch was at the buyers request.

I am having trouble with the YODEL updates via ebay. I purchase a Yodel label via ebay packlink. Delivery time on ebay states 2 days for YODEL, but, when the EBAY label is printed off it states 72 hours. This is THREE days, not TWO Days. I have reported this several times. I have another issue again on the ebay tracking for YODEL only.
Jul 20, 2023 · Not only is the customer as mad as a hornet because the item hasn't arrived, they're doubly mad because they've had to pay £3.50 to get hold of it. My surmise is that when an package is hooked out for excess charge, it's chucked in a pile and is dealt with when someone feels like dealing with it.
Someone from outside the UK can pursue a claim through the County Court systems in England & Wales, Northern Ireland or the County Sheriff Court system in Scotland but these courts only entitle the plaintiff to claim for actual loss which needs to be demonstrated; they do not award compensation nor damages other than the Plaintiff's (reasonable) costs for attending court.</P><P> </P ...
