I then re-ran the installer as described in step 6 on the Epic page linked to above, which in my case is C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\Launcher\Portal\Extras\EOS\EpicOnlineServices.msi and the installer ran successfully fixing the issue.
Jan 13, 2024 · Well it does sound like you have been hacked. What email provider are you using for your epic account is it a Microsoft email. You can try to recover it but from what I've seen here when the account has been changed to rambler.ru the account is lost. Help with the Microsoft account recovery form - Microsoft Support. RP.
Aug 18, 2020 · Within my son's Epic Games account he currently has a connection to his Switch. When I try to link to his new box (which is his home xbox) I want it to connect to his xbox account, but instead it connects to my xbox account and at no point does it ask which box account to link to! We have a family Microsoft account where I have 2 son's listed.

We understand that you are trying to link your Microsoft account to your Epic Games account, but you must first unlink an Epic Games account from the Microsoft account in order to use the Epic Games account that you want. Jan 23, 2022 · I contacted Epic Games support and after we tried all the usual fixes, they advised to contact Xbox. After this, I made a seperate Epic Games account and tried to link my Xbox to the new account but this also failed. Oddly enough, when I try to link my Twitch and Reddit Account to my Xbox, they tell me to login, but both in the end fail.
