Google maps' algo integrates into "total travel time" including walking, bus wait times at your bus stop, transfer time, etc. Give it a try, if you're going into a bus stop with multiple buses to your destination, depending on the buses' arrival times, you'll get different routes as each bus passes.
Jan 29, 2020 · This map was made on browser using Google's My Maps. I find it pretty useful for planning places to go on a trip, but I'll add that it's a pretty shitty tool for drawing any kind of curve. tl;dr This was a purely voluntary waste of time.
Sadly Singapore is too small a market for Google to care enough. I too feel the pain of not having accurate and up-to-date info on Google Maps for Singapore. There was an overhead bridge on Tanjong Katong Road outside the Canadian School.
Dec 19, 2022 · Ok, I just have to ask. The "bicycle route" overlay is whited out. The routes are actually visible -but only if you magnify the map-not very helpful. And actually, I've looked all over, and can't find a good map of the PCN routes in Singapore anywhere on the Internet. What's up with this? Are the bicycle routes a secret?

Kampong Chai Chee is split by Fengshan, Kembangan-Chai Chee is split into 3 areas, two share a quadpoint and the third is at Geylang Serai, hosting a food centre and community centre.
I Google and look at the MRT map directly to map out my own routes nowadays. Luckily most places are reachable within a short walk from some MRT station. Helps that I don't like to take buses or travel on the roads, I'd rather walk than wait to take a bus. Maybe Google maps is trying to encourage healthy lifestyle 🤣
Sep 18, 2020 · Still got the old/no-longer-existing Golden Shoe Car Park (same with Google Maps 3D). In its place today is a still-under-construction skyscraper, CapitaSpring. OneMap 3D was years in the making AFAIK. On one hand, I wish we could preserve all the demolished old buildings in 3D for historical purposes.

Jun 23, 2019 · Google probably use a mixture of LTAs API as well as their own methods (Google maps traffic style of using the location of android phones) to track the buses. From my experience when you get on 1 of these busses Google will ask if you on it and also how full it is.
