When I passed my Foundation degree, I received a commendation. The classifications where; Fail, Pass, Commendation and then Distinction. All the awards were announced at the dinner, and everybody got a certificate, either for a commendation, high commendation, or a category prize; I don't think you get one simply for being shortlisted, but everyone who was shortlisted last year happened to get at least a commendation.
