Having said that, there are a number of high-enrolment science classes that students from that discipline are not allowed to take for credit, and those courses are intended to be elective courses that students can usually do well in if they attend class and do the work.
May 17, 2021 · Source - lived in the 416 before going to Acadia, have done a couple more degrees at different schools since. 4 years at Acadia (two in rez incl as RA, two off campus) = some of the most rewarding, enjoyable and peaceful years of my life. The teaching/learning/student life experience at Acadia really is top notch. 10.
Apr 11, 2020 · I have been accepted to Acadia and have been looking into the different residences but I want to know what res. is best for first years? Highly recommend smaller quieter residences like barrax and sem. You can still party at the party residences but you also get quiet time with less damage fees. Cutten is mainly frosh and is a pretty solid too.

I cant seem to find any reviews on it and I'm wondering how competitive the admissions are. As for Wolfville, is finding accommodations easy? Apparently the practicum is included in the program, was it easy finding one?

Apr 4, 2019 · I went to Acadia but spent too much time around Dal and SMU with friends. I would say to go for Dal. Acadia is tiny. Wolfville is tiny. Coop opportunities, networking opportunities, job opportunities, opportunities to develop useful real world social skills, etc. will all be far more plentiful in Halifax than Wolfville.
Aug 22, 2020 · you'd probably get a kick out of International students being from everywhere, like at any university, German, Japanese, Nigeria, etc. and really university people are from everywhere I'm guessing Mount A is pushing science/math these days, most of the people in Commerce were either super smart/bookish or self-starter types.
