Diocesan Girls' School, a local grammar school with an international outlook, was founded in 1860 by the Anglican (Episcopalian) Church to provide an excellent all-round secondary education for girls in Hong Kong.
The School takes pride in the fact that girls at DGS excel in academic work, languages, sports, music, service to the community, and receive numerous scholarships and awards. The School is now embarking on a major redevelopment programme in order to meet the educational demands of Hong Kong’s future generations.
