9. The follwing are facts: Trevelyan gets the best academic results of any college. Trevelyan has the lowest drop-out rate of any college. Trevelyan has the cheapest bar in the university, and is the only bar with the ESP certificate. Trevelyan practically owns the DUCK shield.
Sep 4, 2016 · College bar is pretty decent. My friend goes to Van Mildert and from her mouth it's a nice, relatively modern hill college. Has a reputation for being the least 'rah' of Durham colleges because (although it varies year to year) it tends to have the smallest independent school intake. Nice place overall though.

May 21, 2024 · Durham college allocation. A. r!! Hi, I got an offer from Durham and I had to rank my college preferences and just received an email with the college I was assigned to. I know it isn’t as bad as it could be but I got Cuthbert’s. It’s pretty known for partying, bars, drinking etc. I’m Autistic and I really don’t feel comfortable at all. Feeling a bit ****, was ...
Thank you. As a current Durham student, I wouldn't say there was a more 'affordable' college. It all depends on what sort of room you want (single/ensuite/shared) etc. and if you are catered or self-catered. So it is worth deciding what sort of room you are looking for and then looking at what colleges provide your choice.
8. St. Chad's is the smallest and one of the best academically. Although you may have to share a room a lot of people at Durham do, it's not really a problem. St Cuthbert's has a self-catered separate living area, with non-shared rooms. Everyone seems to hate Hatfield, so that doesn't seem to be a great place to apply to...
