History of HEBUT. HEBUT is a centennial institution with rich history, pride-worthy culture, patriotic tradition, remarkable characteristic and global vision. ·1903. Founded with the name Beiyang Technical School. ·1904. Renamed as Zhili Higher School of Technology. ·1913.
Postgraduate Programs. The predecessor of Hebei University of Technology is called the Beiyang technology school established in 1903, which is the earliest university in China to cultivate industrial talents, and it founded the earliest university run factory in China.
