Sep 20, 2018 · You cross over the suspension bridge from the base and walk back up to the other side of the falls. This gets the heart rate up a bit. There are not as many viewpoints on the way out but you hike through the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Gondwana rainforest and lovely rock features.

Located in the lovely Springbrook National Park, Purlingbrook Falls is a fantastic attraction in the Gold Coast Hinterland. As one of the tallest waterfalls in Queensland, Purlingbrook Falls flows over a cliff for approximately 100 metres into the pools below.
Purling Brook Falls (I’ve also seen it spelled as Purlingbrook Falls) was perhaps the most reknown of the waterfalls in Springbrook National Park. We knew from the pre-trip research (prior to our May 2008 visit) that this was one of Queensland’s taller waterfalls as it would dive some 100m off an escarpment into a well-forested base.

There’s wildlife, the 108m tall single drop falls are stunning, and you get to hike deep into the beautiful rainforest. You can also take a short detour to peaceful Warringa Pool for a refreshing swim.
