  3. Feb 2022. Having lived in NM for eight years now, we had never visited this amazing park. There are many small campgrounds and trailheads from the park, several which lead down to the river (and I mean down). It's anywhere from 800-1000 feet from the mesa to the river. Beautiful views await you.
