  3. While At Bertram's Hotel, a Miss Marple mystery written by Agatha Christie, was a decent read, it is probably my least favorite. All the interesting investigation approaches are present, but there was no murder or major inciting incident.

    BBC made TV film adaptation in 1987 as part of their Miss Marple TV series. This starred Joan Hickson in the title role as Miss Marple and was very faithful to the original novel.

    ITV's Agatha Christie's Marple

    Another adaptation was made in 2007 by ITV with Geraldine McEwan as part of the third series of Marple, and first broadcast 23 September, that year. This latter version made many substantial changes to the plot, characters, and atmosphere of the book.
