When Nick's apartment is being painted, the Keatons reluctantly offer him a place to stay. The two end up bonding after spending so much time together.
Elyse is working on her taxes and Alex is amused by the process. Steven is busy working on a documentary about Leo Tolstoy. Nick stays with the Keatons for a week (and some adjustments need to be made). Steven and Nick have to come to terms with their relationship (and with Nick's relationship with Mallory).
