When Nick's 16-year-old dog is gravely injured by a car, Nick is completely devastated and is forced to make a heart-wrenching decision about his canine best friend.

Alex teaches Andy how to deal with all his birthday cards (look for the money inside). As usual, Steven has gone overboard planning Andy's party. Nick is happily reunited with his old friend, Scrapper, and then is grieved when he has an accident with a car. Everyone (even Alex) has trouble dealing with Scrapper's death.
