What is SkillsFuture Credit. Introduced in 2015, SkillsFuture Credit is a scheme that encourages skills deepening or reskilling into new areas outside of your current field. All Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above will receive an opening credit of $500.
SFC is a broad-based initiative that encourages individual ownership of skills development and lifelong learning. Apart from the SFC, SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) also provides substantial course fee subsidies, at up to 50% to 90%, for SSG-supported courses to all Singaporeans in the workforce.

SkillsFuture Credit is a credit for all eligible Singapore citizens to acquire new skills or enhance existing ones. It can be used for a wide range of SkillsFuture Credit-eligible courses. From 1 Oct 2020, Singapore citizens aged 25 or above as at 31 Dec 2020 will receive a one-time $500 SkillsFuture Credit top-up.
