Things I've tried: The Omnipresent "turn it off and on again". Clearing cache in the app. Disabling my antivirus program (Avast) Granting the EA app and DA : I permission in my antivirus. Launching in online and offline mode. Running as administrator. Nothing has produced results.

Close the EA app. Click the Windows button and type "UAC" in the search field. In the User Access Control window, click and hold the slide bar —slide it to the lowest setting available. Click Okay the bottom of the window. Open the EA app client and try starting the download again.

Original Post. SundayMonday1. ★★★★ Novice. May 2023 - last edited June 2023 by EA_Shepard. I installed the EA app since orgin is phased out. I cannot get the EA app to load. I keep getting EC:104 then I say restart app and it just stays on the restarting app screen. (cm edit - updating thread title)

The EA app has been integrated with Steam and Epic Games! When you launch an EA title through either of those clients, the EA app may launch alongside it in order to run the game. Troubleshooting. The EA app won't launch no matter what. Please attempt a full restart of the application.

Accepted Solution. Hey @in54ne71, The EA app should locate the same install location you'd used in Origin and just verify your game files rather than installing everything from scratch. If you had changed your install location in Origin, I would just be sure to do the same after launching the EA app by clicking the menu option in the top-left ...

Same issue but now with every game on EA app. Cannot play or even view any game information (including uninstalling the game). Cannot launch any games using their exe files either Message 6 of 238 (67,289 Views)
