When the Internet Explorer icon is clicked, the spinning circle appears for a moment, then disappears, and that's it. I created a new administrator account. I signed in as the new account. Nov 9, 2015 · All community help posts say to turn on ActiveX I need to go to the Tools option in Internet Explorer. Posts say hit Alt button and menu will appear. Doesn't happen. All I can get to is a Settings option and there is nothing about Tools or Security in that option. Please help! This is why I avoid Internet Explorer at all costs.

Jun 14, 2022 · I am facing the same situation --- I had uninstalled Internet Explorer on the presumption that Microsoft Edge has Internet Explorer as a built-in feature and we can easily "reload in I E Mode" when required. Now, nothing is working. Turning on Windows Features no longer shows Internet Explorer otherwise I could have turned it on.
Jun 30, 2023 · Hi Jack, if this problem occur in Windows Server ? you should turn off Internet Explorer ESC. Enter Server Manager in Windows search to start Server manager application.
