  2. Sep 10, 2024 · Agreed - lens flare at my discretion , and honestly I use my iPhone as a ready/handy camera. My real hobbyist camera is a 2022 Canon R5 with its L lens f4 24-104 . Plus these 2 lens . Their glass optics is a different level than iPhone optics.

I’m getting those green light spots when lights are in the photo both on the fusion camera and the telephoto lens. Any thoughts? I do have a camera protector square over it, although it’s not covering tbr camera.

I get strong lens flares in some situations like bright led street lights but everything else looks good considering the size of this camera.

  7. Jan 7, 2022 · iPhone 12 Pro Max reflection/lens flare There is a weird reflections coming on the photo which ruins the photo completely. I asked the support and one said it was a defect on the lens on the phone and when I went to the nearby service centre they said that’s normal behaviour on all iPhones which was so disappointing, can’t shoot any photos at night looking straight at some light.

  8. Sep 28, 2019 · I see the same problem at night and also in the day. The picture at night is incredible but the lens flare is not acceptable. I am on iOS 13.2 and don’t see how the software is going to help at all. It is the glass cover over the lens that is creating the reflection and flares. Very disappointing. I observed this today as well in the sun.
