Sep 10, 2024 · Agreed - lens flare at my discretion , and honestly I use my iPhone as a ready/handy camera. My real hobbyist camera is a 2022 Canon R5 with its L lens f4 24-104 . Plus these 2 lens . Their glass optics is a different level than iPhone optics.

I’m getting those green light spots when lights are in the photo both on the fusion camera and the telephoto lens. Any thoughts? I do have a camera protector square over it, although it’s not covering tbr camera.

Oct 7, 2022 · I'm tempted to post my lens flare pictures on social media just to show everyone how bad these pictures are. Just an update that I’m happy with my iPhone 14 Pro Max camera. I get strong lens flares in some situations like bright led street lights but everything else looks good considering the size of this camera.

A $300 point and shoot digital camera produces lens flare, as does a $10,000 professional DSLR kit--but neither will produce the ghosting/reflecting I and others ...
Jan 7, 2022 · iPhone 12 Pro Max reflection/lens flare There is a weird reflections coming on the photo which ruins the photo completely. I asked the support and one said it was a defect on the lens on the phone and when I went to the nearby service centre they said that’s normal behaviour on all iPhones which was so disappointing, can’t shoot any photos at night looking straight at some light.
Sep 28, 2019 · I see the same problem at night and also in the day. The picture at night is incredible but the lens flare is not acceptable. I am on iOS 13.2 and don’t see how the software is going to help at all. It is the glass cover over the lens that is creating the reflection and flares. Very disappointing. I observed this today as well in the sun.

Oct 10, 2023 · This is very common for any camera taking pictures at night, where bright lights can reflect off the camera sensor. Even high end DSLR cameras get lens flare, like my Nikon DSLR. And with the ability to take photos in low light, which older iPhones weren't capable of doing well, lens flare is more noticeable. But, you can control it.
