Jul 13, 2016 · -DWGUNITS and make sure it's meter, draw a line 1 unit.-DWGUNITS again. change to mm and go thru all the options and choose to have objects in the drawing scaled up, Check to see if that single line is now 1,000 units.

Aug 2, 2021 · If you want 100 mm - type in 100mm. Now, because your current document units is mm, you should not have to enter the units. If you can demonstrate a way that a new dimension (or edited existing) dimension does not take on the current document units (mm) I would be interested in seeing a Screencast Recording of the steps.

I wanted to ask for help how to change mm to meters completely, I already change the project units to meters but whenever I placed dimensions on the walls etc. .. The numbers are always in millimeters which is my problem because I want it in meters like for example 1.20 Meters not 1200 .
Mar 7, 2021 · If a line is 1 drawing-units long then your setting with command _UNITS is the decision if you say this line is 1 Millimeter or 1 Meter, the line stays at 1 drawing-unit long. So you need also to run command _SCALE and scale the drawing by 1000 or by 0.001 to modify from Meter to Millimeter to vice versa.
Dec 23, 2022 · If you want the drawing unit to represent a meter, you should scale the whole drawing down by 1/1000. I suspect that the Dimension Style used to draw those Dimensions has a measurement scale factor of 0.001 applied, so that the numbers come out in meters instead of in mm [drawing units].
May 13, 2020 · It is the same scale. 0.1 meter is the same as 100 mm. But when I attach the xref, autocad changes the original 1 = 0.1 meters to 1 = 0.1 MILLIMETERS. It just changes the unit without proper conversion, which is WRONG. That's why I can't just use the "1:100_XREF" scale from the list. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. Is there a ...
