Jun 21, 2024 · The Enhanced CPF Housing Grant replaces both the Additional Housing Grant and Special CPF Housing Grant. It gives first-time homeowners an additional subsidy based on their average household monthly income, regardless of whether they buy a BTO or resale flat.
Under the CPF Housing Grant Scheme, you may be eligible to receive a housing subsidy of up to $80,000 to help with the purchase of a resale flat. In addition, you may also apply for the following housing grants if you meet the respective eligibility conditions: Enhanced CPF Housing Grant (EHG) Proximity Housing Grant (PHG)
- At least 21 years old
- 2-room or bigger
- Enhanced CPF Housing Grant (EHG) Who is eligible for the EHG? First-timer citizen households and first-timer single citizens can apply for the EHG when buying a new flat from HDB or resale flat on the open market, subject to prevailing eligibility conditions.
- CPF Housing Grant. Who is eligible for the CPF Housing Grant? You may be eligible if you’re a first-timer household buying a resale flat on the open market, and your average gross monthly household income does not exceed $14,000.
- Singles Grant. Who is eligible for the Singles Grant? If you’re a first-timer single Singapore Citizen (35 years old and above) buying a resale flat with average monthly household income not exceeding $7,000, you may be eligible!
- Proximity Housing Grant (PHG) Who is eligible for the PHG? This grant is for those who are buying a resale flat on the open market to live with or close to their parents and/ or married children.

This grant can be used for both HDB BTO and HDB resale flat applications, helping to offset the purchase price and reduce the housing loan needed for the flat purchase.
