1.1.1.1 is a proxy and a DNS server. It hides your IP from websites you visit, and partially hides your activity from your ISP. It's not encrypted however, what means there are still means to track what are you doing using it. If you want these 3 at the same time, you can use a VPN.

All it does is resolve website domains into an IP address so your device knows which server to connect to. It's not a VPN, it doesn't encrypt your traffic, nor hide your IP address. Using it can bypass DNS poisoning and DNS filtering from your ISP.

It is more of a business class VPN meant for network isolation, not obfuscation. The Warp pages themselves suggest if you are looking for a VPN to provide anonymous browsing something like TOR or another consumer type VPN is what you are looking for.
Aug 19, 2021 · Hey, I use Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 WARP which changes your DNS and changes things to be more secure and fast, it's a good program and I would recommend everyone to at least change their DNS to 1.1.1.1 since it's so fast.
May 26, 2020 · Each of the 3 mentioned iOS apps use their own on-device VPN configuration profile in order to enforce its networking service. And no, you can’t have two VPNs connected in iOS as you’ve already guessed. The 1.1.1.1 has two modes: dns only and warp. The warp does hide your IP address behind the Cloudflare provided nearest location.
Jul 19, 2021 · Essentially it is a free one click VPN based on the Wireguard protocol that encrypts your traffic and routes it to the nearest CF node before sending it out to the net. It also changes your DNS resolver to their 1.1.1.1/1.0.0.1 resolver. I have been using it for 3 months now.
Aug 28, 2020 · So recently I got the 1.1.1.1 app and I mainly use it to get instagram music which is not available in my country. It works sometimes only I think that is because the server gets connected to a country that supports Instagram music and sometimes it gets connected to countries that do not support Instagram music
Feb 14, 2021 · The difference is that since Cloudflare operates on a global scale they can optimize routing to reach your destination faster. However WARP+ is what gives you that, WARP is a basic VPN that makes use of Cloudflare's DNS which is generally faster, but nothing is stopping you from using their DNS with other VPN's.
