The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Beacon Primary School is integrated into the teaching and learning programmes. The school aims to develop every Beacon to achieve their highest potential, with the spirit of creativity and innovation.
Beacon Primary School was the first new primary school to be set up in 2007 as part of the FutureSchools@Singapore (FS@SG) programme. FS@SG was a collaboration between the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Infocomm Development Authority to effectively harness the benefits of technology for engaged learning.
Beacon Primary School had our Open House on Saturday, 29 June 2024 from 10am to 12pm. Our teachers, staff and students worked hard to share with our visitors our curriculum, programmes and activities. Let's take a look at what happened during the Open House this year!
Our school crest in the shape of a shield symbolises our strength and our commitment in nurturing the whole child. The crest consists of a beacon with five brilliant rays in golden yellow serving as the guiding light.
School service providers provide services that complement and support the delivery of curriculum and programmes. These services contribute towards the child’s well-being as well as creating an environment conducive to teaching and learning.
Home-Based Learning. In the event of school closures, Home-Based Learning (HBL) activities will be assigned by teachers to ensure continuity of learning. These activities include videos, textbook reading, workbook tasks, online work, etc.

These 38 primary schools are located in the West Region of Singapore. There are six planning areas in the West Region that contain primary schools. The areas are Bukit Batok, Bukit Panjang, Choa Chu Kang, Clementi, Jurong East and Jurong West.
