When used as a finite verb, the past tense and past participle are normally written as blessed and pronounced blest. The spelling blest is now mostly restricted to peotry and hymns.

Jun 5, 2007 · It is: a) a way to say "Excuse me/Pardon me for doing X". OR. b) a command to say "bless you". As you know commands are Run! Talk! and such, so she could want you to say "bless you". I am not sure about this expression because I have never heard it in this context, and I would also feel uneasy like you were describing.
