Carnival conducts security scanning of all luggage and reserves the right to confiscate any item, which in Carnival’s sole discretion, is deemed dangerous or can pose a risk to the vessel or its guests. At homeports (Sydney, Brisbane), certain items will be confiscated and disposed of and no compensation will be provided.

Embarkation Process. Guests are required to show their cruise documents prior to entering the terminal. Any large items and anything other than carry-on luggage should be checked in at the baggage drop prior to entering the terminal. Once inside the terminal, guests will be directed to the check-in line.
