Dec 23, 2022 · I don't understand why someone can't just make a flash version or some such of one of these Chat GPT's or other such and host it on a website without logins. Why must they make it the first 10,000 words or download our app and be our app monkeys for data mining or other crap.

Dec 5, 2022 · IDK what everyone is chewing or smoking! You can sign in with a Gmail that is never linked to a phone number and create a limited number of Gmail accounts per IP (you can use VPN to change) without ever using a phone number, fake name, or birthdate.
Feb 8, 2023 · Don't think you can use the API without a code linked to an account. Not sure. I spent some time trying to get past with public text numbers and temp emails. The emails work but they don't let you use any voip phones, so idk. You could get a cheap minute phone maybe. Idk if they would accept that.

Mar 9, 2023 · Decided not to cancel and sign up again because of the risk of blacklisting just for trying to fix the login issue. I mostly needed this in my IDE for coding and Copilot has gotten so good in the meantime with added chat tools that it's just not worth the hassle for ChatGPT.
Feb 13, 2023 · I have an experiment I'd like to give to Chat GPT. But I try to avoid using my real email address on sites that require login, to minimize spam and maintain privacy. I tried this with the account set-up for Chat GPT, but it seems that it requires a phone number, which of course would undermine the whole purpose of keeping anonymous email addresses.
Nov 16, 2023 · Swapping to Safari (from Chrome) and I now see the cancel option, which I didn't see in Chrome (it was telling me I wasn't on a plan). I'm logged into two accounts on chrome, that might be causing the issue. Try logging out of both accounts, or try a new browser. I then was redirected to stripe landing page to cancel. Hope this helps.
