Cottesloe Beach, or 'Cott', as the locals call it, has long been one of Perth’s gems. Its pure white sand, which stretches more than a kilometre (0.6mi) along the coast, meets impossibly blue water that’s cherished for its swimming, surfing and snorkelling.
The beach is located along the coast of the suburb of Cottesloe, Western Australia, and spans 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) along the coast, between North Cottesloe Beach to the north and Mosman Park Beach to the south.

At the Cottesloe town end a terrific white sandy beach sheltered by a small man made headland. Safe swimming observed by lifeguards and all the right amenities close by, hotels, fish and chips, excellent ice cream, showers by the beach to wash off. There is a beautiful long white sandy beach heading away from Cott, quite lovely.
