Delivery is the part when the baby is actually coming out. Further, labor refers to what the mother's body is doing and delivery can also refer to what the doctor or midwife is doing.
Feb 15, 2011 · Senior Member. USA. American English. Feb 15, 2011. #4. Ha, I just realized you have two #1s. The grammatical support (in non-technical terms) for "delivering" in your sentence is that "commit to" requires a noun, so "delivering" is used. If you used "commit to deliver," the "to" would be pulled to the "deliver" to make an infinitive (verb). J.
Apr 5, 2006 · If a person has to enter the Zip Code by hand (or worse, enter the city and state by hand to look up the Zip Code) it can add a day or two to delivery time. The PO would prefer ALL CAPS (whether typed or hand-written), but realizes that there would be a lot of resistance to this, as people much prefer the usual combination of upper and lower-case letters.
Sep 16, 2020 · I think I would prefer "of" with "within". It might also be worth noting that "within" usually works in both directions. Jul 15, 2009 · for the sentence "I can deliver the photos this afternoon", why I don't need to add the preposition "in" in front of this afternoon, so the new sentence would be " I can deliver the photos in this afternoon". Is the same rule applied to this morning/afternoon, next week? Thank you.
Sep 6, 2012 · The English is good in terms of grammar and idiom but the message does not exactly make sense, at least in isolation. I recommend one of the following. “The schedule may be subject to change" (We can assume that this is owing to 'circumstances') or. “The schedule may be subject to change under the following circumstances. 1. If it is ...
Feb 9, 2006 · New Member. Alden, NY. English/USA. Feb 9, 2006. #3. yeah in training not on. If you were on traning, you would be using the word on as expressing an action, like you were literally on training like "that boy is on drugs" but if we are involved in something, or doing something it would be in "i am in bed" "i am in training".
