I have tried both the built-in "Windows Fax and Scan" app and the "Windows Scan" app from the Windows Store. Neither of them will scan multiple pages to a PDF file which seriously is the most basic requirement for a scanner app in 2022.

Aug 27, 2020 · Suggestions I've received so far: -set the default printer to adobe pdf instead of just printing to adobe pdf or converting with adobe. -try saving the document as .doc instead of .docx before the conversion. -set the document to "Restrict Editing" before the conversion. -confirm current printer drivers are updated.

  8. Jun 6, 2019 · Created on June 6, 2019. PDF looks like word as an attachment in Outlook. I used the feature "open with" word to convert a PDF to a word document. I have changed this back so all PDFs are now opened with Adobe Reader DC. However, since then, when I create a new email and attach a PDF document, the icon of the attachment looks like the word icon.
