Dragonflies of Jurong Lake Gardens. Dragonflies are from the suborder Anisoptera. Compared to damselflies, they are stronger fliers and have bulkier bodies. Their forewings and hindwings are shaped differently and they tend to hold their wings out horizontally at rest, like an airplane.
