I know my user NAMES and PASSWORDS. I CAN login in on any computer, except the ONE that I need my Dropbox working. I have tried with EDGE, CHROME and FIREFOX (Windows 10). I tried PRIVATE mode on THREE browsers. I enter my email and password. I choose sign in. I get the login screen again empty. The app does nothing. Thoughts?
Whatever setting may have been incorrectly set or whatever file may have been corrected, the computer immediately connected with my Dropbox accounts and I was back in business. I believe, as do contributors to this support group, the problem resided in this machine.
It appears if you choose to share a file with the file open, for whatever reason, dropbox will prompt a view to create a login/ to login. But if you are looking at a list of files and choose to share the file with the share icon, then it may work.

The dropbox app won't let me login on the iPad app, it keeps giving me the message "login failed" even though the credentials are 100% accurate. Also, for every four or five tries I do, it takes me to a page with a captcha and asks me to verify.
I ran into problem with login on PocketBook integration. Once I try to enter the account (I type login and password correctly) and press log in the small circle starts rotating near the login button. I can login no problem, but I need to "unlink" one of my 3 free accounts as the computer died. I now have replaced the computer and made a new account to Dropbox on it. But when I try to login I cant (maybe like you I lost me login details) and it tells me I already have 3 accounts so I cant add this new one.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Dropbox software (no early version, just v 48.4.58. I've changed the Dropbox folder name and then changed it back again. "Connecting" spins with no connection. Preferences > Accounts shows I'm not logged in under any ID, but when I click "sign in" the platform box just disappears - nothing happens.
