Jan 7, 2021 · Find the data partition (it should contain two folders boot and isos. Copy the Garuda iso file into the isos folder. That should normally be all, but the current project does not yet include the proper configuration file for Garuda Linux. Until this happens you need to add it manually. Create a folder in the grub folder and name it garuda.d.
don’t install hyprland-garuda-settings as it has some problems keep garuda-sway-settings as it will work for hyprland very well; garuda apps will not work well so you need to run them through terminal as sudo user like this : sudo -E garuda-assistant
Aug 25, 2021 · Thanks I'll study those resources. I've heard a lot of great things about the Arch Wiki. On the Garuda specifics, what I've discovered so far: the audio support options in the System Components tab of Garuda Assistant install a corresponding support package from the Chaotic AUR, which are meta-packages (a selection of corresponding audio framework packages are installed by it).

I haven’t checked recently but I think Linux in general, not Garuda, and particularly the underlying wine, is still blocked by roblox anti cheating app. Roblox Studio has always worked. An internet search would confirm this sadly…. If it’s really important for you, a solution would be to use it via Waydroid.
Though I can just simply multi-boot Chrome Os [Chrome OS + Windows + Linux Triple Boot Install on PC or Laptop] in my system (I have Garuda, Fedora, MX Linux & Windows, installed on my machine), having able to run android in Linux itself would be just great.
May 28, 2021 · Hardware dono - difficult - that thing was kinda expensive (300$), it is now out of stock due to the global chip shortage, and shipping takes a while. I have literally no clue, how to even set up an os - I will have to hope for the garuda devs to try that. that thing was kinda expensive (300$) My point exactly.
Feb 1, 2024 · The new Garuda Sway iso is configured to use Foot in server/client mode, so the Foot server is launched automatically with Sway and subsequent terminals open as clients. This further reduces the overhead of having a few terminals open, since the clients can “piggyback” off of the resources of the running server.
May 5, 2024 · Garuda definitely works generally on your Acer Nitro 5. At the latest when the Acer logo appears, press F2 for the BIOS and/or F12 for the boot overide (boot menu). If that doesn’t work, turn off the laptop and turn it over. There should be a small hole for a needle on the bottom so you can reset it.
Nov 29, 2022 · Installed garuda , this time ona new laptop -best install experience so far - and its looking nicer than ever -good job on Octopi!! After 3 days its working as I need, but today after unplugging the network cable and moving to another part of the house, all the wifi connections that were already saved - and viewable in configuration tab - have disappeared.
