Mar 8, 2022 · 13. pjayaredee • 3 yr. ago. I lived in 3 different rental flats over a period of 18 yrs. It depends on the mix of tenants the block has, and the type of flats the block houses. Blocks of 1 room flats will be quieter.. generally housing older folks compared to 2 room flats with nuclear families. Neighbours are hit and miss.
Oct 2, 2019 · Landlord says no. Which part of "no" do you not understand lmao. If there isn't a law for/against it, it falls back to the contract. If the contract isn't for/against it, it falls to approval. From what I understand, for HDB that are being rented out, only authorised tenants may stay in the unit.
HDB blocks consisting of solely 4- and 5-room apartments don't get to enjoy such a privilege, even though for the sake of "diversity" and "strengthening the social compact" the cost to divide large 5-room units into smaller rental units shouldn't be too prohibitive.

And assuming you r renting out HDB rooms, blue entire unit, you don't need HDB approval as long as you r eligible to do it, e.g meet mop requirements. Oct 11, 2022 · Yes, this will a shortage of HDB rental flats but also a glut of private properties for rent. If the owners choose to sell their HDB flats, this will raise the supply of resale flats and lead to lower resale prices at least in the short term.

Very interested to see. 549, Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10 , 5-rm flat rented out for $6,500 in Feb 2023 (highest) 623C, Punggol, 2-rm flat rented for $300 in Apr 20233. 8x flats getting more than 6,000. 4x in Bt Merah, 2x in AMK, 1x in Jurong East, 1x in Central.
