Feb 21, 2018 · Much in the same way that you use a bank to hold your bank account, Paragon use HSBC for theirs. It is very legit and quite normal. Until relatively recently, most building societies used to use the clearing banks for clearing duties as they themselves were not cleaing banks. Some still do.
Apr 27, 2021 · HSBC really need to pull their finger out, closing branches yet their site and app is behind the times. They have only just added the ability to pay a credit card easily (non-DD). Before you had to set up a new payee manually. I did notice some pages on the HSBC have a new design so I assume a big update is coming.

Nov 27, 2018 · DWP don't consider a payment to be late until the day after it falls due so they won't reissue a payment today. That is because the receiving bank can process at any time during the day. If DWP released the payment on time, and to the correct bank, the onus will be on you to chase your bank to find out why the money hasn't reached your account.

Normally it has the account number and sort code, but on the card it just has a 9 digit "card number" Can I find out my account number from this, I need to transfer some money to it online, but as I have no account number, am unable to do TIA
