WHERE TO APPLY FOR A VISA? At the Embassy: For applications for a national visa for Italy (for stays longer than 90 days), it is necessary to book an appointment at the Embassy. At the BLS International Services agency: Schengen visa applications for Italy and Malta can be submitted at the BLS INTERNATIONAL SERVICES agency, by appointment.
Applicants may also contact directly the Visa Office of the Embassy of Italy for enquiries and ask for appointments at 62534340 or 62533604 and by e-mail at visa.singapore@esteri.it. Visa Application Process
The appointment slots will be released between 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm from Monday to Friday except for the listed holidays on the website. Travel Insurance is mandatory for travelling to Italy. You can get your travel insurance by clicking here or from the visa center at the time of submission of your application.
The visa application must be submitted, in writing, on a special form, completed, signed by the foreign applicant and accompanied by a passport-size photograph. For Schengen visas, the application can be completed directly online using the online E-@pplication form .

Singaporeans can visit Italy for up to 90 days within 180 days from the date of initial entry within the Schengen region without a visa, provided no employment is pursued. Italy is part of the Schengen area.
