Jujutsu kaisen is one of the best written shounens in over a decade I’d say to be honest. It deserves the hype, the anime and manga.
Mar 31, 2022 · I quite like Jujutsu Kaisen but it definitely has flaws. I am still confused on the power system. The fact I needed a Reddit post to help explain what Gojos ability is is prob not a great sign for the manga. Granted maybe I’m not as smart as I think I am.
Feb 18, 2024 · Sukuna hates Yuji because on some level Yuji scares and infuriates him in that Yuji opposes Sukunas own world view. He is boring, he has no selfishness, he is "weak" but with a strong will and unbreakable desire to kill Sukuna. Yuji is no fun, does not respond to Sukunas bullying, does not admire or fear Sukuna.
Chainsaw has a lot of good stuff going for it, especially the intensity of the slower, interpersonal relationship-driven chapters, but a lot of the characters are a bit too memey in personality, yet same-faced for me to really enjoy it. secondly, while the mystery and sense of dread are impressive, sometimes the pace seems slow, and new info is just bombed on the reader for shock. in JJK, most ...
