I recommend them for several reasons... they sound excellent and they last a very long time. Also, they are a coated string which may very well be eaiser on his fingers than uncoated ...

With the needle nose pliers. crank the screw clock-wise to lower the bridge and counter clock-wise. to raise it. Tension wise it’s easier to adjust the screws with the strings. somewhat loose.

  8. Nov 6, 2008 · Welcome Epiphone Player. The LP tremolo you're refering to, is the one that replaces the bar. on the stop tailpiece, right?! I don't (personally) have any experience, with them, but I do have. experience with Bigsby, and Maestro. NONE of those (LP, Bigsby, Maestro), are for "dive bombing," type tremolo effects.

  9. Jul 2, 2010 · anyway, if you want strings that last, you'll have to pay for them. I'd recommend D'Daddario EXP strings or Elixir strings. These are coated and last quite a long time. Another route: get string care products like fast fret, which help protect the strings and clean them.
