There used to be a way to invert. When using the paint program to edit pictures, How do I invert the picture to a negative image? The old paint program had an "invert" button on the toolbar, and it was very useful for this purpose. This paint program doesn't seem to have any special effects, that is mighty lame, if you ask me.

Oct 26, 2022 · Please don't close this thread until Microsoft provides more instructions for a real answer. MS Paint 11 also discontinued the helpful Quick Access Toolbar option. It was helpful to save as JPG, our company standard format. Why can't Microsoft leave well enough alone and simply use the same MS Paint from Windows 10 in 11.

Everytime I create a new file or modify an existing one when I try to save the work (using Save, Save As or closing the program) Paint just opens the window where I select where to save but it closes in a second without saving anything.
