  1. The problem is that the smallest Mitsubishi fridge i can find is 450 liters and its just that much too big for the fridge space I have, which is maximum 65cm wide and 1810 high. After considering several Samsung, LG and even Westinghouse fridges, I found this Hitachi that ticks pretty much all the boxes and comes with 5 year warranty, which is rare as most seem to be offering only 2 years.

  2. posted 2013-Aug-3, 6:44 am AEST. You can order any Mitsubishi fridges from HN, even if they don't list them on the HN website. Seven months ago I bought the MR-E62S (637L, the one with 6 doors). It is absolutely perfect, tons of features (incl hot and supercool freezing), made in Japan, 5 yrs warranty.

  3. From what I've read online the 2014 model has had a big problem with the fridge compartment not getting cold but the freezer works fine. I now have the 2015 model which is a 710-EG. It's working perfectly now. There's no difference between the 2014 and 2015 except that the 2015 is an inverter model. New Mitsubishi fridge - can't get help. I can ...

  4. The Mitsubishi fridge you chose is misleading as most of the advertisements only give you the fridge size plus the freezer in the summary of the fridge. When you look at the full specs sheets their are another 4 compartments that you have to add in. i.e Mitsubishi MR-EX562WNA with total storage space 562L Refrigerator Compartment: 253L

  5. I have been searching a long time for a fridge that’s wide AND shallow. Dimensions of the space: 182cm (H) x 80cm (W) x 60cm (D). Tried searching all the mainstream brands but they’re all approx 70cm deep or more. This one would’ve been perfect at 63cm deep and 75cm wide but it’s slightly too high at 186cm.

  6. Menco writes... Mitsubishi for reliability, separate vegie draw, ice maker. Best energy rating. Annoyed me that the door trays are very deep which makes the fridge shelves rather shallow. Get the Mitsubishi, their inverter tech is one of the best and the 5 plus 10 is one of the best as well.

  7. Hey all. I am looking to install a 12V outlet in the tub of our 2013 Mitsubishi Triton Dual Cab ute. The outlet will primarily be used to run a portable fridge, so I will likely want to so that the power can be on all the time (via a switch) if needed. Just looking for some advice as to how I should connect this in, best practices etc.

  8. I have a Mitsubishi MR-EX655W fridge, which the manual states to keep 20mm clearance either side and 100mm clearance above (no clearance required at rear). I'm getting a new kitchen built and really don't want the 100mm clearance above, as I'd prefer a more snug looking fit. I'm thinking maybe 20mm clearance. As the overhead cupboard will only ...

  9. posted 2023-Aug-6, 1:48 pm AEST. O.P. We are considering to buy Hitachi 735L 6 drawer Fridge RZX740KAX, which has a vacum compartment as well. When I went to harvey norman I had already decided to get the Mitsubishi multidrawer 700 litre fridge. However when we saw the 735 litre hitachi one, due to the vacuum drawer we got very inclided towards ...

  10. On paper the Mitsubishi fridge space is bigger and the freezer is smaller than the LG. However the LG probably used the old method of calculating volume (pre-2019). If anyone is interested – without any prompting on my part and as soon as I showed interest in the Mitsubishi, the salesperson ran off and checked and gave me the Boxing Day sale price on the fridge.
