Jan 23, 2018 · New Lane aka Lorong Baru is a 250 meter stretch of road connecting Jalan Macalister and Jalan Irving. Every evening around 5pm, hawker's stalls that seemed to appear out of nowhere would start lining one stretch of the lane all the way to the Jalan Macalister junction.
Aug 10, 2014 · This hawker centre is located like a minute's walk to Sunway Hotel in Georgetown. Was staying at Glow Macalister Road, and to get to New Lane from Glow, is approximately ten minutes walk along the same side of the hotel. Yay to no road crossing!
