Travellers entering New Zealand under the Visa Waiver Programme need to complete a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA). To avoid delays, request an NZeTA before you travel. Requests are usually processed within 72 hours, but some may take longer.
If you come to New Zealand on holiday, you’ll need to get either an NZeTA or a visitor visa — unless you’re an Australian citizen. You cannot extend a visitor visa — you’ll need to apply for a new visa at least a month before your current visa expires. The fastest and easiest way to apply is online.
From 1 October 2019, visitors from visa waiver countries (including Singaporeans) travelling to or transiting in New Zealand require an NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority). You can request for the NZeTA via the official mobile app or website. Approval for the NZeTA can take up to 72 hours, so do remember to apply for it well in advance.

Do you need a visa to visit New Zealand? You are a New Zealand citizen. You hold a New Zealand residence class visa.
