Nov 28, 2022 · Hi all, As in the title above, when I hover my cursor over the text in my notion page, the cursor disappears. The way to get the cursor to reappear over the text would be to not move the mouse for a few seconds. If I were to move my cursor again over the text, the cursor would disappear again. Does anyone else face the same issue?
Mar 12, 2022 · Yup, people have been using kaTeX in notion for a while now and it can be fun; you can use it for more than just color (eg. you can use it to change font styles, create tables, etc) but because it is code, you will see the full code in some instances (like if you use kaTeX for headings, notion displays the full code in a Table of Contents block).

Jul 14, 2022 · Create a table (not a board) Then in the second column of the table (make the type "select" or "multi-select") edit the property to create the tags you want. Add a board view. The tags you created in the table will become the groups in the board. You can delete the table view if you only want to see the board.
If it is mostly writing related tasks, have a look at Obsidian. It is similar to Roam Research and works offline. I use Bear and the fact that Notion doesn’t have offline support is stopping me from migrating over completely. I hate the name but TiddlyWiki is the stable and infinitely customizable alternative to Roam Research.
Dec 29, 2019 · It seems that Evernote dropped the import from OneNote feature, as it "imports" OneNote files by attaching them. The currently best way (and probably the only way) to import sections from OneNote seems to be to export them in the OneNote desktop app into a .docx file. And then import them into Notion.
Aug 3, 2021 · Not sure if you guys are still looking for a solution, but I've decided to work on an embed to create a graph view of the notion pages and/or people within the workspace. I've always wanted and needed a graph view (like roam or obsidian) for Notion as well. You can sign up for the waitlist. We'll let you know as soon as I get it ready!

However, my inventory projects call for databases. If I wasn't using Notion, I might create my own little SQLite database. But I like the features that Notion provides. I frequently use the gallery view and board views. I like the ease of filtering. I like embedding a filtered selection within another Notion page, in the midst of other notes ...
