In my free time, I use Notion to organise my reading with lists of books I've read, how much time I've spent on each book, books to buy, bookshops I'd like to visit, and my notes on books I've liked.

Jul 21, 2020 · no need for Original Notion.app. if you have installed notion enhancer successfully, then open notion press ⌘ + E on Mac | Ctrl + E on Windows OR right click on 'enhancer' tray icon in system tray (click ∧ icon if not showing) from that contex menu click on "Enhancements" scroll down ⇊ ⇒ find "custom inserts" ⇒ Enable It
Feb 19, 2021 · New-ish to notion and not very techy. Although 95% of my use is via the desktop app, I sometimes need to not a quick note while mobile. I downloaded the Android app to my phone, but there appears to be no kindle fire app nor have I found a published work around, official or otherwise.
Mar 13, 2021 · Hello, my notion desktop app isn't working and i dont'know why. i made a fresh windows installation and that is happening. web app through browser is working tough. any idea? EDIT: just manged to fix it. set microsoft edge as default browser uninstall the app. go to %appdata% and delete the Notion folder. reinstall the app
Nov 24, 2020 · I do use Notion for some things. What I like about it is that you can build your own productivity system to your liking in it. Here is my video on task management using Notion. I use Notion for my VA agency. But for my personal use, I use a minimalist task management system called ZenKit ToDo.
Oct 9, 2020 · Linux is my primary (and only) desktop and use the app version of Notion, which has zero difference from the web app except for the fact that you're gonna have to manually update it. Also not true that there are no products developed for Linux, I use a lot of apps on Linux that are also multiplatform.
Nov 10, 2021 · you can use the notion-enhancer, a customiser for the app that brings extra features (e.g. themes, reusable custom icons, a table-of-contents sidebar). The current version of it is fairly buggy though and the next update will also be available as a browser extension - it should be out soon, once I'm past exams.
Jun 11, 2021 · the official Notion app (unenhanced): the safest of the app options, in terms of likeliness to break. notion-linux, notion-app, etc. (unenhanced): "true" ports of the original app, but outdated. Lotion or anything else that suggests using "nativefier", "flatpak" or "Install Site as Web Application": not recommended, for aesthetic purposes only.
Jun 8, 2022 · It seems like the app now preloads the page and all of it's children. In the production app the page opened and loaded parallel, so the images sometimes took a second to load. After the spinning is gone, I don't have any load times for the children of the page, including images and databases.
