Jan 26, 2024 · I’ve gotten really into the nyt games app and started doing their sudoku puzzles. For most of their games (wordle, connections, spelling bee through the app, Minis, crossword) you can either find the old ones online or the paid ones through the app. Afaik the sudoku is free, and it shouldn’t be hard for a 3rd party to copy and host sudokus.
Sep 18, 2019 · Ny times hard puzzles are usually just moderately difficult, and I don't think I have found one that need anything more complex than triples. I plugged today's Hard NYT puzzle into my solver. The analyzer found 4 naked pairs, 3 pointing lines and 3 group claims before the puzzle degenerated into singles.

Jan 3, 2021 · I've been playing Sudoku now for close to a year. Not sure about the easy and medium, but I've been tracking on hard anywhere between 13 minutes to 30 minutes depending on difficulty. I see videos of pros taking around 30 minutes to solve hard. Sometimes the NYT hard puzzles are quite the challenge. Sometimes they are quite easy.
Oct 25, 2022 · In my experience the hardest technique required to solve an NYT Hard puzzle is almost always uncovering a hidden pair or triple. I checked today's puzzle and that was the case. I agree that it can often be quite tricky to spot a hidden triple but with NYT hard you know what you're looking for. 3. Award.

Oct 11, 2023 · I was able to find one way (2nd pic) to force 8 in one of two cells in last row, consequently helping me solve the whole sudoku. (Side question : what wing is that called?) I am a beginner at sudoku, and I have been able to solve nyt sudokus till now using basic pairs and triplets etc, so I believe i must be missing some other obvious trick at this place.
