Anyone have any experience now there are consoles out of warranty? I'm having to send my launch ps5 in once the box comes. Just would like to find out what the cost might be. Buy a PS5. PC is not in a good place right now. Parts are expensive, market is stalling in performance but games are starting to scale to ‘next-gen’ so requirements are very dire. If you follow Digital Foundry on YouTube, you will notice most games are releasing with poor optimization and even poorer performance on PC.
Feb 22, 2023 · Here in Brazil PS5 is about $200 cheaper since last month, but It was about $1000 since the launch so... still overpriced I guess. I believe Sony recommended prices have no effect when retailers are hungry for profits.

Sep 21, 2022 · Now within that cost, everything added up exactly - the disc version of the system, an extra controller, plus a year of PS+, Miles Morales w/ Spiderman, and the Demon's Souls remaster (which I initially was the most annoyed having to purchase - but ended up loving).
Nov 14, 2022 · It's been 2 years since the PS5 launched. I asked then how long it would take for PC builds to catch up to the PS5 by price, and the top response was "2 years max". GPUs are coming down, so do we have a $500 PS5 equivalent build yet?
Apr 8, 2023 · For short with a budget of 950 (EU or US) you could build a pc that has much better performance than a ps5 (by a lot also) and in the budget you can include a monitor/1tb ssd nvme/mouse and keyboard (of course all of the other components that a pc needs to work too, just stated the extras).
