Raffles Junior College (RJC) was established in 1982, when the pre-university section of Raffles Institution was transferred from Grange Road to a temporary campus at Paterson Road.

In 1982, Raffles Junior College (RJC) was established at Paterson Road to take over the school's burgeoning pre-university enrolment. It subsequently moved to Mount Sinai Road in 1984. In 2004, the six-year Raffles Programme was offered to Secondary 1 to 3 students.
Raffles Junior College was established in late 1981 on Paterson Road, and opened in 1982. 47 Prior to its establishment, Raffles Institution offered a six-year education from secondary one to pre-university two.
