Feb 14, 2024 · For me personally the biggest disadvantage of built-in player in Samsung TV is an enforcement of subtitles during video playback - VLC is one example of the good player, that does not do the same. To disable subtitles - pretty much as switching between audio tracks - you need clicking navigation buttons on remote control multiple times and it is for each video sample of course 😫

I replaced a slightly older SMART Samsung TV (UE32J5800) with the newer (I thought) UE32T5300) because we needed another TV and I thought a newer one would be more sensitive as we live in a poor reception area. Anyway Teletext worked fine on the old one ...
Jan 16, 2022 · If your Samsung TV is not getting all channels you wil need to go to the source menu and select 'TV' > then connect your antenna to the RF connector on the back of the TV and select 'Chanel Scan' > select either 'Air, Cable, or Both' and scan for all available channels that have a reliable signal.

Device Connect Manager. Device List ( In the Device list) I removed all connected devices and exited out of the menu.

My 50" Samsung smart TV is connected to a network where I have a Network Attached Storage (NAS) drive. This is used to store films and home videos. Since I purchased the TV in March everything has worked fine and the NAS drive showed up on the TV as a source.
