I seek advice from any SMU seniors here: From what i understand, freshmen are advised to only take 4 CUs in their first term.

Jul 19, 2024 · Course bidding on BOSS for exchange students starts on 22 July 2024. Three rounds of BOSS bidding (Round 1C, 2 & 2A) are open to exchange students. BOSS Round 1C is held from 22 – 26 July 2024 with three bidding windows. It is the only round which is exclusive to exchange students.
