Dec 1, 2019 · In my android I have the "Sony Headphones connect" app and used it to connect to my laptop. Using the app first connect to your headphones in my case the WH-1000XM4 Then go to the app, select the "system" option and enable the "connect to 2 devices simultaneously" option. After that the connection to your phone will be restarted.
Jun 17, 2022 · Got my sony headphones a month ago, and been struggling with connection to my windows 11 laptop since then. Everything connects well, shows as connected. I can see my headset both in input and output devices lists in settings. But whenever I try to play something, it will not. Youtube can't start a video.
May 18, 2021 · Updated WH-1000XM4 drivers through the Sony Headphones Connect app Control panel > device manager > disabled and tried updating/reinstalling every driver related to bluetooth and WH-1000XM4 Control panel > sound > disabled/re-enabled everything multiple times and tried every combination possible
Jul 5, 2022 · For WH-1000XM5 Sony Headphones. Go to google play download the sony headphones app if you do not have it. Then switch on your blue tooth in you phone. Open the app and connect the headphone from the app add more devices and in your PC Bluetooth check the headphone that will appear there to connect it.
You can't connect them to the PS5 via Bluetooth, however just grab the aux cord that came with the headphones (it's packaged inside the headphones case if you've never used it and didn't realize that the Sony WH-1000 XM4 Headphones come with an aux cord that allows you to connect them to devices via audio jacks instesd of Bluetooth).
Dec 13, 2021 · I only know how to use the iPhone app. If you open the Connect app while you don’t have any headphones paired you will have a “switch to another device” button at the bottom. Click the 3-dot menu for the old pair and select “cancel registration”. This will remove them from the app.
WH-1000XM5 & Samsung TV Problem Have a problem need help with - my Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones have been connected to my Samsung TV for 4 months with no issue. TV model is a 2021 NeoQLED. Yesterday the headphone connection was lost, now when I reconnect there is no sound coming through, only a loud static noise and after 5 seconds the connection drops out.
Oct 5, 2022 · Is the Sony Headphone connect app mandatory to keep installed in order for the WH-1000 MX4 to keep the settings I set Question in the title. I really want to buy it but I want to deactivate the option that detect speech and reduce the music volume.

Mar 13, 2024 · Got a pair of Sony wh-1000xm5 from the state to help with my audio sensitivity at work. I've tried them on my way to work and they work great, but I just can't get them to connect to my PC here. My PC doesn't have bluetooth, so it has to go through cable, but they just don't connect with the additional USB C>USB-cable I got.
