It offers a guaranteed rate of 3.5% p.a (as of 12 June 2023) for a lock-in period of 6 months. The returns are generated by investing in a fixed deposit with their partner bank.

As of 8 Oct 2024, the highest StashAway Simple Guaranteed interest is 3.20% p.a. for a 3-month period, with no minimum or maximum deposit amounts.

We infer that, should StashAway get into financial trouble, they won’t be able to touch your assets because they’re held in different entities.
