ISPs are responsible for how accurate this data is. Still doesn't change the fact what Steam shows as you login location is often inaccurate.

It almost seems like every time I TRY to login with any of my accounts, for Steam support it shows up as "successful" login while on my end all I am getting is same "ERROR.

Steam doesn't work like that, when you log in to a 3rd party website using Steam, Steam only supplies an identifier token that the website can use to pull certain public information.
